From Tony Hawk to the infamous Z-boys, underground skating trends have influenced the fashion sphere for decades. Early brands such as Red Bull and Vans commercialized the world of skateboarding into multi-million dollar corporations, which have in turn been absorbed by Haute fashion houses.
On August 23, 2019, Hawk was featured by Vogue for his infamous style and skating techniques, bringing the world of skate back into the realm of fashion.
